This work was inspired by the world famous 12th century Benin bronze heads of the Yoruba. 'Past Perfect' was created using a process called lino print. After drawing onto a linoleum plate, the image is carved, inked and hand-printed. Each print is a one-of-a-kind, as no two prints are the same. The beautiful black image is overprinted on an abstract orange band and bright yellow sun rings.
